So, along with Viewpoint, the “newer” Aqua Midtown has condos up for auction. Aqua has not had good press lately as one resident was killed in her condo after she let a man posing as a potential buyer come in. NEVER DO THIS PEOPLE. Always have the concierge come with you if you are doing [...]

I have visited a lot of lofts in the Inman Park, Poncey Highland, Freedom trail area lately and my new favorite lofts are the fabulous NuGrape Lofts.
Built in 1937, this building once housed Atlanta’s own NuGrape Soda Company. In fact, the national headquarters was housed in the building and syrup for the soda was made [...]

General William Tecumseh Sherman of the Union Army is probably best known as a great military strategist and the leader of Union troops who captured the city of Atlanta in 1864. He spoke words that, believe it or not, are somewhat relevant to this post about Midtown foreclosures.
“War is the remedy our enemies have chosen, [...]

The developers working on the mixed-use development at 3630 Peachtree Road announced today that the residential portion of the 34-story tower will become the first Ritz-Carlton Residences in Atlanta.
$600,000 will get you the smallest unit in the building at 995 square feet. The 3,000 square foot penthouse will run upwards of $2 million. There will [...]

I will be honest and tell you I did not dress up to go into the W - knowing full well I would have to wear a hard hat. Yet, I decided to wait (namely because I failed to make an appointment and I want to see it closer to finishing time) to actually [...]

I am really going to have to get dressed up to go into Sovereign, and I can’t wait to go. I am not sure how many of our readers can afford a condo (a “home”) from $1 million, but I think I’ll still end up making an appointment to visit when it gets closer [...]

I forgot to send this out when I saw the advertisement this week. But here is a story in the AJC about a developer in Atlanta giving away Mini-Coopers when you buy a condo at Aqua in Midtown or Duo in Castleberry Hill. If you want to get hooked up with the Sales [...]

I love all of these old buildings actually becoming something rather than being torn down. The Troy-Peerless Lofts are situated in a fabulous early 20th century brick building that housed one of Atlanta’s largest commercial laundries. Close to Whole Foods, Home Depot, PetSmart etc. on Ponce, this Glen-Iris loft looks and feels historical. [...]

First of all, I swear I am not being paid by the Novare Group to write about their projects. They just happened to have two finishing up at the same time and therefore, I figured I would write about them both. (Twelve at Centennial Park is the other one.) I must say I [...]

The Novare Group has outdone itself. Maybe I am just giddy because I went into a great unit on the 23rd floor of Twelve at Centennial Park, but who cares. It is grand. I will be honest and tell you that I am not a big fan of another one of [...]
