The mixed-use development at the corner of 17th Street and Peachtree Road named 1400 Peachtree was supposed to be started in early 2008. But, the developers purchased a neighboring tract of land and have now announced that they are beginning the design phase of the new 1400 Peachtree.

The developers working on the mixed-use development at 3630 Peachtree Road announced today that the residential portion of the 34-story tower will become the first Ritz-Carlton Residences in Atlanta.

The Atlanta Dairies plant on Memorial Drive in Reynoldstown is slated to be redeveloped by Atlanta based developer, Brand Properties, who is in the process of rezoning the 9-acre project to contain a mix of commercial and residential.

A 20-story office tower is set to move forward and further change Buckhead’s skyline. This $175 million project, called Phipps Tower, will sit on 3 acres across from the Ritz-Carlton on the Buckhead Loop.
The developers have decided to follow the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System on this project.

Local developer, Flow Metro, has two parcels of land under contract on Englewood, just west of Boulevard with a northern border which runs right along the proposed Beltline. This 10 acre piece of land is currently occupied by out-dated industrial buildings.
