The Cosmopolitan Condominiums will be auctioning off 40 of their “urban upscale condos” on May 17th at the Westin Buckhead.  From now until May 16th, you can preview the condos daily and there is a “practice auction” on May 16th - which is helpful if you have never been to an auction before.

The starting price for a 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom condo is 105K - compared to the last asking price of $237,500.  You can get a 2 bedroom for 140K (compared to 301K it was listed at) and the 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom home will start at 250K. Not bad considering they were offered at $486,500.

I wrote about these a while back and if you want to live close to Marta, close to Buckhead, and close to all highways, you should check it out.  Seriously, it is in a prime location and at this point, they have some serious deals going on.  They have also been FHA approved and one of my good friends, Jared Tawzer of Sharpe Mortgage, is helping with the loans.
