1010 Midtown

The balconies…the balconies are huge and in some of the condos, run the length of the actual residence. I have never seen a high-rise with such awesome balconies. Nor have I been in an Atlanta high-rise with a view of Piedmont Park and a view of Peachtree street- all from one condo. But alas, I have now. 1010 Midtown sits on Peachtree Street and the views are spectacular. Part of the large development of 12th and Midtown, 1010 sits across the street from what will soon be a Loews Hotel. Touted as “located in the nexus of everything,” this Midtown condo is a very nice development.
The 400! residences of 1010 Midtown consist of mostly 2 and 3 bedroom condos. In fact, only 37% are one bedrooms - rare in high-rises. The HOA fees are also pretty low at 28 cents per square foot. When you walk in, you know you are in for a treat. The lobby is exquisite with high ceilings, marble floors, and a modern flair. The club room and fitness center on the 4th floor are both well done and the pool and “sky park” on the 8th floor are magnificent. But really, it was the balconies that sold me. Well, that and the fact that the bedrooms in the one and two bedroom residences are big enough for a queen or king size bed and big furniture. Big closets too and nice kitchens with Bosch appliances…I have been in many high rises with small bedrooms and small closets and it annoys me.

Moving on -the floor to ceiling windows really have a wow factor - and I looked at the model units on each side of the building and felt like any which way, the views were good. The bathrooms are grand, but really, I think that if you are buying a condo in a high rise, the bathrooms should be grand. Well, these are. Slate floors, gorgeous tile, big bathtubs and showers, but wait, I can’t remember if there was a pooper room in the two bedrooms…someone?
Prices for the one bedrooms start at $224,900 and go up to $349,900. The two bedrooms start at $359,900 and go to $899,900 and then the three bedrooms start at a whopping $724,000 and go on up to $1.5 million. If you can get a loan! and want to live in a large (but different) high rise in the middle of Midtown close to Piedmont Park, The High Museum, restaurants galore, and a new Loews Hotel, call me and I will be glad to check it out again with you. The curve of the building really does make this one unique - and of course, you have those balconies…

Very cool looking condos. I love to see what is being built in other cities as my company is primarily focused on Los Angeles.

These condos are exceptional, and happen to be exactly what my fancy is, lol. I’m surely going to take a look at the website and get some more info.

Ashley,
I was able to preview these condos also. I agree with you that the views are spectacular from the balconies. What appealed to me even more was that the units didn’t feel like boxes. There were actual curves in the units at least in the front of the building. Some units had columns in it which was cool to see. They spared no expense on design and aesthetics.
