Downtown / Castleberry Hill Foreclosures

Since Knox wrote about foreclosures in Midtown yesterday, I thought I would follow up with foreclosures in the Downtown Atlanta area.  I think he is going to be writing on Buckhead foreclosures today as well.  So our readers will have plenty to read about over the weekend!  Knox also thinks we ought to do some video tours on our site.  I, of course, would be in front of the camera since I am not camera shy at all…Maybe in the New Year.  Need to get my hair done and put lipstick on for that venture.

And on to the foreclosures in Downtown.  These foreclosures were found in zipcodes 30303, 30312, and 30313.  These zipcodes constitute Downtown, Castleberry Hill, and the area surrounding that vicinity.  Starting with 30303, there are foreclosures from $334,900 -a 3bedroom/3bathroom at the 90 Fairlie Lofts-to $94,900 -a 1bedroom/1bathroom at the Healey Building.  There are 2 available in the Kessler City Lofts, 2 in the Healey Building and even one lease-purchase that looks promising at 123 Luckie Street.  That one goes for $279,900 for a 2bedroom/2bathroom.  I have written about most of these properties in my It’s Smarta to Live Close To Marta Part3 post, so you can find them linked there.

As for zipcode 30312, you have lots of choices as well.  There are a number of Tribute Lofts for sale (remember they went to auction a couple of months ago) and Central City Lofts are still selling off of Ralph McGill Blvd.  The City Side Lofts close to Turner Stadium have a couple in foreclosure, including a 1/1 for $79,500.

The zipcode 30313 consists of Castleberry Hill area and the area close to Centennial Olympic Park.  Castleberry Hill has a few choices including a 2/2 at the new Duo condo (possibly more-I am still trying to find out) for a whopping $184,500.  There is also a gorgeous huge loft that has 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms for $749,000 in the center of Castleberry Hill.  Museum Tower, closer to Centennial Park, has 5 foreclosures ranging from $359,900 for a 2/2 to $184,900 for a 1/1.

If you would like any more information about these foreclosures (or this area in general) or would like to take a look at any of them, don’t hesitate to contact me.
