Its Smarta to Live Close To Marta, Part 4

We ended our tour last time at the Civic Center Station, because quite frankly, once you get to North Avenue on the North line of Marta, you are getting into the midst of condo and loft land. In fact, you are surrounded by places to live eat and work or Eat, Pray, Love. Did anyone read that book? I really enjoyed it. I digress.
From the picture here taken in the middle of Peachtree at North Avenue, you can see two big condos, but there are even more surrounding those properties. Basically, living in Midtown should really be car free. And you can always use the fun Zip Car when you need to go anywhere Marta can’t take you. Seriously, why spend money on a car, insurance, and fuel? So, living car free in Mid-town is easy. Let’s start with a number of places to live near the North Avenue Marta Station(and again, I am not going to do all of them - so sorry. There of course is Spire (on the left of this photo) and Viewpoint (on the right) - both Novare properties and both with lots available! Spire has a few in foreclosure, so there are some deals to be had there. Both of these building are around 0.5 miles from the North Marta Station. Oh, and the third Novare property beyond those two on Peachtree is Metropolis.
But even before you hit those two properties, you have quite a number to choose from. Depending on what street you are on, you have some serious choices. On Peachtree and North, you have the Windsor - an older condo to say the least. And you have The Reynolds - which has had a hard time selling, but hopefully they have worked out the issues because I think this place has potential. I mean, it is in the midst of midtown and even across the street from Crawford Long in case you get sick! Oh, and the new Dogwood Restaurant just opened under it. Both these buildings are a basic block from Marta.
Further on down Peachtree at 0.3 miles from the North stop, you hit the Cornerstone Village. This large complex offers a couple of pools (one indoor and one outdoor) and has a number of different condos to choose from. It is also in the middle of the what will be - Midtown Mile - which I have written about before. On your way to West Peachtree Street, you come across the famous Biltmore House on 5th Street (pictured below.) On West Peachtree at 0.6 miles from the North stop, you have Plaza Midtown. Below Plaza Midtown are many restaurants and a fabulous Publix. You really never need to live this building!
I could go on and on of course with everything around this area. On Spring Street, you have the MidCity Lofts (o.3 miles from the North stop) and then on Juniper Street, there are many places to live including: 905 Juniper and The Dakota. Once you hit these places that are 0.6 miles from the North stop, you could easily walk to the Midtown Station on 10th since you are basically in between the two stops. It just depends on where you want to go! And around all these places to live are places to eat, drink, and be merry. Onward ho! to the Arts Center and beyond next time!

The architecture in this area is stunning. Really great place to just walk around and enjoy the day.
