Despite the fact that I hate the sign leading people to Huff Heights on Huff Road in the West Side, I decided to go take a look.  The sign (pictured below) is of this guy with his arms spread wide, wind blowing in his hair, living the “sky life” at Huff Heights…I mean really?  Who stands like this- ever?  Anyway, I made an appointment on a gorgeous gorgeous morning and indeed loved the town-homes.

I am not sure there is anything like Huff Heights in (in-town) Atlanta.  There are 28 town-homes - 4 stories each, and 18 units are live/work spaces while the rest are just residential.  So, for those of you who want a great space to work - all in a booming area (unless the economy really really busts) then this is the space for you.  You can use this first floor to sell cigars or rent it out if you want, while you hang out on your massive deck overlooking the city.  I digress as usual.

The town-homes sit at the top of a hill, so many of the units have unparalleled views of the whole city in the distance.  There are 2 car garages for most of the units and each unit has 4 decks or patios with slate flooring.  The first floor is your “flex” space (for retail or bedroom etc) with the garages.  The second floor contains a very nice open area with the kitchen, den, dining area and a half bath.  The third floor contains the 2 larger bedrooms- one being a master with a huge closet and cool bathroom (with a pooper room) and the other is large as well with its own bathroom.  Then you walk up to the main attraction…the incredibly large rooftop deck that includes a bar area - which of course you will use often.

Built by Brock Built, a very very green building company here in Atlanta, they have made these homes modern yet warm with exposed brick, gorgeous dark wood and granite, and have really pulled out the stops on the outside spaces.  I mean, really, I could live full time on the 4th floor deck.   Starting in the high 300’s, the most expensive is in the 700K range.  They are selling now, so let me know if you would like to take a look.  Ansley and Valerie, the sales reps, were very nice to meet me there with Valerie’s very spoiled dog Max, for the tour!
