The mixed-use development at the corner of 17th Street and Peachtree Road named 1400 Peachtree was supposed to be started in early 2008. But, the developers purchased a neighboring tract of land and have now announced that they are beginning the design phase of the new 1400 Peachtree.

This phase could take up to 16 months to complete, and not too many details are known besides the fact that the hotel and multi-family portions of this project will be branded by the InterContinental Hotels Group.
