3630 Peachtree Is Becoming Ritz-y

3630 PeachtreeThe developers working on the mixed-use development at 3630 Peachtree Road announced today that the residential portion of the 34-story tower will become the first Ritz-Carlton Residences in Atlanta.

$600,000 will get you the smallest unit in the building at 995 square feet. The 3,000 square foot penthouse will run upwards of $2 million. There will be 129 residential units and seven penthouse units.

The tower itself will consist of office and retail space on the first 17 floors. The two floors after that will be full of amenities. The final 15 floors will be residential.

Expect the building to top out late this year and open for residents next July.

    The Ritz condos sound nice, but I still struggle to see how there is a market for all of the high-end condos that are (or will be) coming on the market.
