I will admit, I made that title sound much more dramatic than it is.  The developers of Tribute Lofts on Boulevard in the downtown area have decided to put 40 units up for auction in what will be a pretty rare event in Atlanta.  I wonder if this is the sign of the times?  Could Atlanta’s condo market become like Miami’s condo market?  We certainly have a lot being built and a lot that have just finished.   The price of land isn’t cheap in this town and if developers aren’t selling, they are going to have a hard time paying for that land they built a 30 story building on…

Anyway, back to my story.  Of the 147 condos at Tribute, over 68 have sold.  Tribute has been there about a year now and quite frankly, I don’t think the massive power lines in front of the building are helping their sales much - but that is my opinion only.   So, on June 22, head to the Omni Hotel in downtown and act like you are going to an art auction, but instead, you buy a place to live!  Good luck!
