Sovereign of Buckhead

I am really going to have to get dressed up to go into Sovereign, and I can’t wait to go. I am not sure how many of our readers can afford a condo (a “home”) from $1 million, but I think I’ll still end up making an appointment to visit when it gets closer to opening. Being built as the tallest structure to hit Atlanta since 1992, Sovereign will be a part of the 48 floor structure at 3344 Peachtree. Homes begin on the 28th floor (along with the Skyline pool and Spa) and residents will have “unparalleled private pedestrian and automobile access to Peachtree Road, Lenox Road, Piedmont Road and Georgia 400.”

In the heart of Buckhead, the developers are striving to make this a pedestrian friendly area where walking can become the norm. I also think the structure is gorgeous and gives the Buckhead skyline a huge boost. I’ll be sure to take pictures of the pool and spa when I go visit. In the meantime, enjoy visiting the website to learn more about “living at the intersection of art, architecture and life.”

I think it is incredibly smart and wonderful that Todd Murphy’s work will be part of the Sovereign. I can’t imagine a better action taken than his artistic energy in the space. It will soften the glass and steel and give heart to the bones and metal structure of highrise. How terrific and what a draw. I look so forward to seeing it sometime.
