Historical Troy-Peerless Lofts

I love all of these old buildings actually becoming something rather than being torn down. The Troy-Peerless Lofts are situated in a fabulous early 20th century brick building that housed one of Atlanta’s largest commercial laundries. Close to Whole Foods, Home Depot, PetSmart etc. on Ponce, this Glen-Iris loft looks and feels historical. Troy-Peerless houses sweet raw lofts with exposed brick, old beams, and original gorgeous windows and doors (pictured below) throughout the building.

There are only (and I say only because they are selling fast) 32 units - from studio units to 3 bedrooms of all different shapes and sizes. Ranging from 500 square feet to about 2000 sq ft., they are priced from around $150K to the low $400’s. They boast a rooftop deck, a fitness center and club room, a garden terrace, a dog walking area, gated parking, storage and my favorite-energy saving roofing and appliances.

The area is obviously booming and is becoming more and more walkable/bike-able. I mean, really, you are not far from the Highlands, the Old Fourth Ward, and if you have it in you, you could walk/bike to Midtown or Piedmont Park. I have spoken to Trevor, a sales representative there and he is very nice and will take you on a good tour of the place. Also, you must check out their website as it gives some wonderful history of the area and of the building. Fun old pictures too!
