I don’t know how many of you know all the things going on in this area of Memorial Drive. New restaurants are popping up and a plan has just been approved to put a CVS, a large grocery chain, and - are you ready? a Trader Joe’s on Memorial Drive. I will say it again - Memorial Drive ain’t going to be what it used to be. Gone are the days of old warehouses and car shops - in comes Trader Joe’s. Who would have thunk it!

So, if you are looking in this area, there are many lofts and condos for sale. The Triumph Lofts hopefully will be completed soon, and they are right in the midst of everything new. There are three lofts available at the cool A&P Lofts (pictured above) near Wag-A-Lot, my favorite doggy day care, and there are a couple available at the Metal Works (the very funky and colorful urban looking lofts.)

If you are more inclined to buy off of Memorial, the Milltown Lofts has a few for sale and there are even one or two in the Carroll Street Lofts (pictured below) in the heart of Cabbagetown - next to the a few good restaurants including the Carroll Street Cafe. Cabbagetown boasts a really nice neighborhood park and the neighborhood has a great history which I am not going to delve into now. If you would like the history, comment and I will tell you all about it. Anyway, if you are not familiar with this area, get familiar with it. Whether residents like it or not, it is fast becoming a place to be. Let me know if you have questions about things for sale in this area.
