You better go look at them fast because they are selling fast. Almost 50% sold already, and the Artisan II is not even expected to open until March 2008. Being built behind the first Artisan building on the corner of Commerce and Ponce de Leon, the condos are in the center of everything Decatur. You can walk to the grocery store, the bank, the drug store, the fabulous breakfast place, Pastries A Go-Go, and of course Taqueria.

The seven story building will have a bit different layout than the original Artisan. There are no two-story condos in this one. They are all one story flats. You are still able to choose from 1,2, and 3 bedroom condos and all are equipped with top of the line Bosch stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and Berber carpet in the bedrooms. The kitchen and bathrooms boast granite counters and the 10 ft high ceilings allow for the light to flow in, but the sun won’t get you hot because of the over-sized insulated windows being used. I won’t go into all the amenities they offer - because they offer a heck of a lot. (Both buildings do share the roof top pool and the fitness center.)

If you love city dwelling, but like Decatur better than Atlanta, then move here. You truly are in the heart of Decatur, and who doesn’t love Decatur? Well, I am sure there are people out there. But, if you are into walking, biking, and living in what seems like a small town center, then come to the Artisan - but come fast. They won’t last long.
