The Milltown Lofts are a built as new loft condo complex in Reynoldstown. I just viewed a foreclosed listing at the complex last week. It is the 2 bedroom 2 bath, two level, with the dramatic 22 foot high ceilings in the living room. The unit was in the first phase of the project, completed in 2003. Currently the developer is adding a second phase, including a second pool to the complex. While the new units of this same design are listed between $284,400 and $299,000 this foreclosure is listed at only $212,000.

This exact same unit sold for $240,280 in 2003. So far this year, units of the plan have sold for an average of $273,474 with 61 days on market.

This unit does not have a rooftop deck, originally a $15,000 option from the developer, as most of the other units do. Also, it seemed the air conditioning was not working properly.

Considering the low list price, and the chance to get it below list price, it appears to be a solid deal for a homeowner.
