As you read last month, The Beltline Partnership needs three governing bodies to pass votes to approve the TAD, making the Beltline a reality. On November 7th, the Atlanta City Council approved the first leg. Last night, the Atlanta School board voted 7-0 to approve the tax allocation district as well. The last hurdle is the Fulton County Commission. They could vote as early as December 21st.

The Beltline Tax Allocation District, if approved, will provide $1.7 billion to development of the Beltline.
